The Office of the Registrar is responsible for administering and maintaining student academic records at Global Studies University. It supports students, faculty, and academic departments by overseeing course registration, enrollment, academic progression, graduation requirements, and the consistent application of approved academic policies and procedures.

  1. How do I request an enrollment letter?
    Submit a Letter Request through the PeopleSoft Student Portal. You can track the status of your request online. Letters are issued after your enrollment status has been verified.
     
  2. How long does it take to receive an enrollment letter?
    Enrollment letters are generally processed within two working days. Processing times may vary depending on verification requirements.
     
  3. Can I change my course registration after enrolling?
    Yes. Students may add or drop courses during the approved add/drop period, in accordance with the Academic Calendar and university policies.
     
  4. Who should I contact about an urgent registration or records matter?
    Email the Office of the Registrar at registrar@gsu.ac.ae or call +971 6 511 2439 during university working hours.
     
  5. What are the university’s attendance requirements?
    Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes and meet the attendance requirements established in university policies. Please refer to the University Catalog or Student Handbook for further information.
     
  6. What should I do if there is a hold on my student account?
    Any holds, such as those relating to missing documents or financial clearance, must be resolved before you can register for courses or access certain university services. Check the hold details in PeopleSoft or contact the Office of the Registrar for assistance.
     
  7. Can I request documents on behalf of another student?
    No. To protect student privacy and personal information, requests must be submitted by the student through their official university account.
     
  8. What is required for graduation clearance?Students must:
  • Complete all academic and graduation requirements.
  • Obtain the required clearances from the relevant university offices.
  • Submit a graduation clearance application through PeopleSoft.
  • Provide any additional documents requested by the University.
