Ph.D.

– The scholarship is granted and maintained in accordance with the following procedures:

Scholarship students must take a study load of six to nine (6 to 12) credit hours, with the possibility of a one-hour adjustment with the dean’s approval.

– Applications for scholarships must be submitted to the Academic Affairs Office when applying as a new admission or at the beginning of each semester for current students.

– The Student Admission Committee will review the applications.

– Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis and are approved by the Student Admission Committee.

– The Academic Affairs Office will communicate the decision to the Finance Department and the relevant academic departments for implementation.

– Applicants must have earned a minimum CGPA of 3.5 out of 4.0 in both their bachelor’s and master’s degrees.

– Students must be enrolled full-time and cannot receive scholarships from other organizations, unless a student opts for an outside scholarship that provides equivalent coverage offered by the GSU scholarship.

– The student shall be held responsible for the information they submit in relation to being a full-time student

– Academic departments provide reports on the student’s performance each semester.

If a student is found to be underperforming or failing to meet their commitments, the academic department may terminate the scholarship based on the department’s recommendation.

– Students must remain enrolled each semester and avoid withdrawing from their studies.

– A cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 is required in regular semesters to maintain scholarship eligibility.

– Scholarship applicants must maintain full-time enrollment and ensure they do not receive scholarships from other organizations unless an external scholarship offers equivalent coverage.

– Students are expected to adhere to university regulations, including behavioral and ethical standards.

– Permission from the university is required for students to travel outside the country for acceptable reasons (students must notify the Admission and Registrar Office).

– If a student qualifies for a GSU scholarship and receives a sponsorship, the student must choose one option and will not be permitted to change to another program during their entire study.

– In any semester where the minimum required cumulative GPA is not met, or if the student’s grades include F, FX, WA, or W, the student’s scholarship will be under review.

– Any student found guilty of a violation of the student code of conduct or an academic integrity offense will forfeit the scholarship for the remainder of their studies at GSU.

Global Studies University (GSU) offers tuition discounts to eligible students to reduce their overall tuition fees. Students must meet the following criteria to obtain a discount at GSU:

• Acceptance letter from the GSU admissions office.
• Hold a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale in their bachelor’s degree.

Doctorate Program

• To maintain the discount in subsequent semesters, a CGPA of 3.0 or higher is required.

• 30% discount on the first-semester tuition fee.

– Applications for the discount must be submitted to the Admission and Registrar Office when applying for new admission or at the beginning of each semester for current students.

– Students must be enrolled full-time and cannot receive scholarships from other organizations unless they opt for an external scholarship that provides equivalent coverage to the GSU scholarship.

– Discount students must take a study load of 12 credit hours or more, with the possibility of a one-hour adjustment with the Dean’s approval.

– Students must remain enrolled each semester and avoid withdrawing from their studies.

– A cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 is required in regular semesters to maintain discount eligibility.

– Discounts cannot be combined with other tuition waivers or scholarships.

– Students are expected to adhere to university regulations, including behavioral and ethical standards.

– Any student found guilty of a violation of the student code of conduct or an academic integrity offense will forfeit the discount for the remainder of their studies at GSU.

– A student will lose their tuition discount if it is discovered that they submitted fraudulent information in their application.
