Dora Kakra Kumi is a Master of Arts student in Global African Studies at The Africa Institute, Global Studies University, specializing in Diplomacy and Africa’s International Relations. From Ghana, her research focuses on the intersection of diplomacy, digital communication, and Africa’s engagement with global audiences, with a particular interest in social media’s role in diplomatic practice. Drawing on a background in history and teaching experience as a research assistant, Dora examines Africa’s international relations, diaspora connections, and historical contexts such as slavery and emancipation. Her work aims to strengthen scholarship and practical approaches to diplomacy, bridging historical knowledge with contemporary global challenges.
