Alessandra Frontini is an Italian Ph.D. student in Global Studies at Global Studies University, specializing in Cultural, Visual, and Literary Studies. A museologist and interdisciplinary researcher, she explores how museums evolve alongside the cultures and communities they serve. Her doctoral research examines how museums in the UAE interpret and adapt the concept of the “universal museum” within a new cultural environment. Her interests include curatorial practice, audience diversity, cultural diplomacy, digital humanities, and the decolonization of museum narratives. Through her studies, Alessandra seeks to develop perspectives that inform museum practice in the UAE and internationally.
