Afomiya Ayalew Mitiku is a Master of Arts student in Global African Studies at The Africa Institute, Global Studies University, specializing in Diplomacy and Africa’s International Relations, from Ethiopia. Her research builds on a background in Political Science and International Relations, focusing on diplomacy and Africa’s evolving role in global affairs. Afomiya examines regional integration, global realignments, and diplomatic strategies, with particular attention to Ethiopia’s regional repositioning and its broader global implications. Through her studies, she aims to contribute to policymaking and diplomatic practice that strengthens Africa’s agency in international relations.
