Fadzai Veronica Muchemwa is a Zimbabwean Ph.D. student in Global Studies at Global Studies University, specializing in Historical, Political, and Social Studies. Her research examines how institutions shape cultural production, historical narratives, identities, and knowledge. Informed by her curatorial practice, her interests include ecological and social justice, care, solidarity, collective organization, food and seed sovereignty, and urban histories. Through her doctoral studies, Fadzai seeks to investigate how established institutional structures can be challenged and rethought, while developing the theoretical and methodological approaches that connect her curatorial work with broader questions of global history.
