Altayeb Issa is a Master of Arts student in Global African Studies at The Africa Institute, Global Studies University, specializing in Afro-Arab Relations. From Sudan, he examines African and Middle Eastern politics, focusing on the complex intersections of Afro-Arab relations in Sudan, where colonial legacies, regional ideologies, and global forces converge. Drawing on a background in political philosophy and experience lecturing at the University of El Imam El Mahdi, Altayeb investigates how philosophical ideas shape political structures, state formation, and power dynamics. Through the Afro-Arab Relations track, he aims to advance interdisciplinary research and contribute to the study of regional politics, migration, and governance within Africa and the Middle East.
