Abiy Yeshitla is an accomplished leader with over three decades of experience in the technology sector, having held numerous executive positions at Oracle and IBM. He is currently the CEO of Muleback Technologies, an innovative IT startup, and serves as a Board Member at Networked.Co. Prior to his current role, Yeshitla was the Vice President responsible for Oracle Cloud across the Middle East and Africa (MEA), where he played a key role in growing Oracle’s cloud business. He also led Oracle’s Independent Software Vendor (ISV) division for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

 During his tenure at IBM, Yeshitla held several high-profile leadership positions, including Vice President of Software for the Financial Services Sector in North America, where he helped the sector become the number one market from 2016 to 2018. He also served as Vice President of Analytics Software for North America, managing a team of over 2,000 and driving $2 billion in revenue. In this role, he accelerated the transformation of IBM’s analytics business, overseeing AI, Big Data, IoT, and more. Earlier, as Vice President of Middleware for North America, he led a multi-billion-dollar business focused on cloud and on-premises IT environments.

 In 2005, Yeshitla was recognized as Business Unit Executive of the Year at IBM. Before joining IBM, he worked at Bell Communications Research as a software developer. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Yeshitla resides in New Jersey with his wife and two children.
