

A team from Global Studies University (GSU) visited Ras Al Khaimah Medical and Health Sciences University (RAK MHSU) on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, to observe effective practices in campus-wide data collection, document management, and internal reporting.
Led by Dr. Moji E. Olaniyan, Director of Institutional Effectiveness, the delegation represented multiple functional areas, including the Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE), Institutional Research, IT, and Communications. Team members included Sherif Nour, Head of IT & Academic Computing; Mariam Taha, Administrative Coordinator, OIE; Megna Kalvani, Communication and Outreach Manager; and Enas Sadek, Institutional Research Analyst. They explored RAK MHSU’s organizational structures, communication protocols, IT-supported systems, and standardized templates for departmental reporting. The visit also highlighted multi-layered data validation, approval processes, and collaborative workflows across university offices.
“The visit provided an opportunity for exploring best practices through institutional cooperation between peer institutions. We gained and shared valuable insights that would enhance efficient processes across all GSU quality assurance activities,” said Dr. Moji E. Olaniyan.
The GSU team met with senior representatives from RAK MHSU, including (Add names and titles) Dr. Eslam ElNebrisi, Dean of QAIE & Associate Professor Pharmacology; Yosra Lozon, from the Accreditation Unit; Lubna Abdel Jawad, Head of Institutional Research Unit; Abdul Razak, Senior Executive at the Documentation Center; Rona Pasia, Executive Secretary; Rasha El Youssef, Manager of Admissions & Marketing; Naseeruddin S. Patel, Senior Manager of IT Services; and Ibrahim Al Khalaf, Executive in Software Development and Application Support, to discuss their practices and systems.
